SMS Consent

GrowChurch LLC is committed to transparent SMS communication. This page explains how we obtain consent, what messages we send, and how you can opt out at any time. We never share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who Sends These Messages

SMS messages are sent by GrowChurch LLC, a church growth infrastructure company based in Buford, Georgia. Our messaging programs serve two audiences: churches that are clients of GrowChurch services, and individuals who have opted in to receive communications from a church using the GrowChurch platform.

How Consent Is Obtained

GrowChurch obtains SMS consent through explicit opt-in processes. Consent is obtained when an individual:

  • Completes a Plan Your Visit form and checks the SMS opt-in checkbox
  • Submits a contact form on growchurchhq.com and provides a phone number
  • Verbally or in writing agrees to receive SMS communications from a GrowChurch client church

The opt-in checkbox on all GrowChurch forms states clearly: "I agree to receive SMS text messages from [Church Name] / GrowChurch LLC. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."

Consent is never required as a condition of purchase. You may receive our services without consenting to SMS communications.

Types of Messages You May Receive

Depending on how you opted in, you may receive the following types of SMS messages:

  • Visit Confirmation — A confirmation message sent after you submit a Plan Your Visit form
  • Pre-Visit Preparation — Messages with parking, entry, kids check-in, and service information
  • Service Reminders — Reminder messages sent the day before and day of your planned visit
  • Post-Visit Follow-Up — Messages following your church visit with next step information
  • GrowChurch Communications — Service updates, onboarding information, and account-related messages for GrowChurch clients

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your opt-in program. For church guest visit sequences, you may receive up to 5 to 8 messages over a 7 to 14 day period surrounding your planned visit. GrowChurch client communications are sent as needed for service delivery.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time using any of the following methods:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us
  • Reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message
  • Contact us at [email protected] to request removal

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number. Opting out does not affect any other services you have with GrowChurch or the church you were visiting.

Data Security and Privacy

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in data are stored securely and are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are maintained in compliance with applicable telecommunications regulations including TCPA guidelines.

Supported Carriers

SMS messages are supported by major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and regional carriers. Carrier support may vary. GrowChurch is not responsible for delays or failure in message delivery due to carrier issues beyond our control.
